On Filters

Filters, usually used to remove impurities or unwanted materials. I’ve been thinking about this concept lately.

I have always considered myself as a no filters person. By this, I mean that I am really open to anything; especially new people and adventures without the social prejudices that usually accompany our lives now and days. But as I get older, I’ve started to realise that having filters is not such a bad idea. Not saying that every now and then the odd bad bean can slip through, but at least the probabilities of some shit drama happening will greatly diminish. I don’t know if it’s because I’m pass my twenties and all the randomness that goes with it, but I can’t be bothered anymore with deceit, arrogance, disloyalty, and most importantly human stupidity. Lack of ethics and morals in some people really drive me crazy. I’m not happy.

So from now on: Filters all the way.

Let’s be honest now, who doesn’t prefer filtered water?
